[b]How many gallons of gas does it take to fuel your swimming habit for one year?[/b]

OK. To make it easy...you need to know:
How many mpg your car gets.
How many miles you travel each day to and from the pool.
How many times a week you make the trip.
How many weeks in a year :)

OK...62 gallons of diesel.

360 gallons gasoline, and that's with an economy car.

558 gallons, premium, if I swim every day...and not counting meets

I swim 5 days a week & 6 days every
other week & I live 1.25 miles from the
pool & my car gets 20mpg so: 286 days
times (1.25 + 1.25)= 286 times 2.5miles
= 715 miles/20mpg = 35.75 gallons.

0 - the pool's only half a mile away, so I walk or bike.
