Yes, infact I almost always sleep in a stream-line position.

Yes! When I was a kid, if I dreamed I was being chased, I would leap into the air and swim to safety! Being a short axis swimmer and sleep walker, I usually swam breaststroke and often awoke at the top of our stairs.

Now my swimming dreams are more relaxing (and I no longer walk in my sleep), except during tapers when I am psyching up for sprint races.

See you on deck!

Yes, yikes...weird swim dreams! Sometimes I'm swimming where there isn't enough water and my hands are hitting the bottom (like a weird Hershey Park type serpentine) and I'm upset that I can't hold the water! Other times it's the opposite and I'm really moving. I guess the truth is somewhere in between!

I have had recurring dreams where I am swimming breaststroke in the air -- all around the town where I grew up -- not over the pool.

wow this is a great topic! I don't remember many dreams but just today my girlfriend was telling me how when i feel asleep just recently (note that i CANT swim now cuz of rotator cuff tear) And aparently I was dreaming about swimming.

Usually she says i do swimming motions in my sleep like butterfly kick.

But this time she said i was talking in my sleep and she asked me waht i was doing. And she said that I told her i was swimming. And she asked where i was swimming and i said "i dont know im swimming" lol.

Ah I hear about me swimming in my sleep so much..... what a great question of week!

Last night I was trying to swim up a fountain wall. That was REALLY shallow! Maybe this is to fix my too deep kick I just found out about. Ouch.

I even dream about swimming when I'm awake!

When I dream about swimming it's always abouit times. I mostly swim on the ground - no pool, no water. *laugh* I was racing myself in the 200Fr this time and swam a 2:10.flat. I was then fighting with my mom because I wanted to swim a 1:34. I told her it's her fault I was so lame. *ha ha ha ha*

Ha! I always dream about swimming! I moved clubs just this year and I remember dreaming once that I had to swim with my old club. Well, I got there late and my old coach totally wouldn't talk to me and wouldn't tell me what we were supposed to be doing! I got in a just started to copy what other people were doing and then they started to run over me! It was like they were trying to drown me, they pulled on my feet and jabbed me in the side and almsot swam on top of me. It was crazy. :-) The other night I dreampt that I was swimming with two shirts on. I totally couldn't breathe!
