Isn't her head suppose to be between her arms and not underneath them?

And why are her feet surfacing
or is that a dive?

WHATS UP WITH THAT?

Responded Feb 16, 2007 10:10AM

she almost has the GO SWIM symbol
duplicated but not quite?

I would go with the possibility of this being the backhalf of the GoSwim logo but....

Id say that her head/streamline of the upperbody is great.

Since this is a dolhpin kick I am wondering why her legs are this high. This position of her body looks to be at the very end of the upkick before the downward thrust.

Everything is comming from the core as you can see her hips/legs are held streamlined but loose enough to undulate! Great picture.

I just wonder how much power she has behind this great body dolphin kick

We're learning more about where this kick initiates from. Her legs may not be quite high enough. This kick involves the lower back and I chose this image because it's as high as she gets... and I'm still not convinced after watching her very closely... that she is connecting her back NEARLY enough.

Who is she? I don't know what to think of the picture, but I'll keep my opinions to myself if she's able to do a 54 in practice!!!!

How deep is that pool?

Responded Feb 20, 2007 09:17PM

It wasn'st in practice, it was in a meet... but the pool is 10 ft deep there. FYI... she's about 10 yards off the wall, so there won't be any bubbles as she's gone pretty far. Besides, 54 in practice or in a meet is an INCREDIBLY respectible time. Maybe not record breaking, but very strong.
