This week's pic is of our friend Brendan. Just a sweet pic during warm-up for a meet.

Nice pic, but it looks like his focuse is not where it's supposed to be during the warm up (feets, releasing air so that the buoyancy is not as good as it could be, the line of his body, it also looks like he's a bit to deep). Maybe its a drill. In that case, what kind of drill? But the hands and the neck looks good. Anyway: a really nice feeling when you push off and see the "dansing" sunshine (?) at the bottom.

For a while I've played with releasing air during the underwater pull. This serves to make the body DENSER and HEAVIER... which carries more momentum and allows you to travel farther, faster. At least that's what it feels like. Buoyancy isn't always a good thing, but rather something that we have to FIGHT. Just a thought on that part.

I also love swimming in the sun... in a calm pool... watching your shadow. It's very cool.

I would love to see what he's doing as next, and even more HOW he is doing it. Yeah I know it is on his DVd. I don't have it :O(

He pulls down. :) Sorry... that's just mean isn't it? I do really like Brendan's underwater pull. It's got some cool concepts to it, and I've tried to incorporate some of it in my own swimming... the things I'm capable of that is.
