Do you know how many days are left until your championship meet begins?  If so, how many and does that seem like a long way away or short?

1 day. It's always 1 day away... that way I'm focused TODAY!

I do not know and I do not want to know so far. I am still injured and if I start counting days now it would freak me out. I will look at the calandar when I go back to squad training.

Counting today, 126 days -- 18 weeks exactly! To my swimmers it seems ages away, to me as the coach I look at the calendar and think "ohh geez, we don't have a lot of time left!" The season goes a lot quicker as a coach then it ever did as an athlete...I wonder if the fact that I don't actually have to do the workouts has something to do with that. :)

44 days until short course nationals and 236 days until long course nationals. It's seems very short to be able to put all the work necessary.
