Being able to get out. ;)

Have to get in first, then have to float, then have to move down the lane however you can. I was privileged to attend the Paralympics in Beijing. I was able to see all classes swim from Class 1 (the most disabled) to Class 13 (the least disabled). I saw a few swimmers that had to be helped into the water, had to be held onto until the buzzer start, had to get to the other end sometimes with just one arm doing all the swimming, then needed assistance getting out. AND still the crowd went wild! Swimming is truly a life time sport for everybody - that's success.

I like Mysty's definition...swim with focus and commitment, give your best every day.

Being able to improve your swimming skills by practice and correction, help others improve their skills and having fun in the process.
