Despite the injuries that I had that kept me out of our Long Course Nationals...I regained confidence in my training program and in my swimming...now I can step behind those blocks with much more confidence and with a lot less anxiety.

I am thankful to be back in the pool and have a family that supports my love for swimming. Swimming has improved my health and attitude. I have not been in the pool on a cosistant basis since college and my single days doing Triathalons. It's been 20 years, I started woking out again this past August. Being back in the water, working out consistantly, getting healthy (physically and mentally), is a blessing. Swimming is just one piece of the "Big Rocks" in my life and I am thankful and blessed that my community has the facility, swim team and the schedule that makes this work.

I am recalling the feelings from when I was young, and also improved technically.

I am thankful to my physio, who fixed me successfuly and sent me back to swim practice. Without her I would be still injured.

Without swimming, Qi Gong and the people closest to me, I wouldn't have survived this very difficult year. I'm so grateful for everything I have despite all I have lost.

I am thankful that I have improved a bit, especially in butterfly! Also, steady stream of swim buddies throughout the year - from practicing to throwing jokes at each other.
