Swimming Set of the Week - December 30, 2008

Posted by Barbara Hummel on Dec 30, 2008 08:01AM (2,482 views)

Here's a New Year's Day set that will challenge every member on your team, no matter what their ability level -- but will keep everyone on the same sendoff.

This week's set offers twelve different ways to do 75 swims on a 1:20 sendoff.    Choose just one of the following scenarios.  Remember:  EVERYTHING is on a 1:20 sendoff and there are no breaks within the set.  Choose the scenario you think you can handle.  Fins are OK.  IM is OK.  Choice is OK (even kicking and pulling).

This is a good team-building practice because every lane, no matter what their ability level, is leaving on the same sendoff (although sometimes they'll be leaving from opposite ends of the pool).  No matter which scenario your lane chooses, every lane finishes with 3 X 50 at the end of the set.  Allow 1 hour and 40 minutes for the set.
