Many 100s through the practice to work the aerobic base.

The distance and yardage is measured in short-course yards.

• 600 warm up

• 6 x 100 free on 1:20
• 6 x 100 IM on 1:30
• 6 x 100 kick, all flutter on 2:00

Main Set
• 10 x 100 on 1:20
• 4 x 50 on :45
• 8 x 100 on 1:15
• 4 x 50 on :45
• 6 x 100 on 1:10
• 4 x 50 on :45

• 100 loosen

5,500 total yards

Trust me... the flutter kick 100's were the toughest part for me, that's for sure.

Just looked through some of these sessions and I'm doing this with my guys long course tonight. Bit of medley/form and fin kick to finish off with should go down a treat.

what is the best strategy in 100 race in 25 meters pool ..do i have to run the fastest at the 3rd distance?

i forgot to tell u that my best time is 1:15 in 100 and 31 seconds in 50 meters freestyle

Nice set, but it's too much freestyle specific. This isn't possible for a common breaststroke

Switch it to breaststroke by changing the intervals. It can work.
