Congratulations to Aaron Peirsol, who smashed two world records last week and earned the chance to compete in two individual events at the FINA World Championships in Rome.

Swimming at the ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships in Indianapolis, IN, Aaron set his first world record in the 100 backstroke, becoming the first person to break 52 seconds (51.94).  On the final day of the meet, he sliced a full second off the 200 backstroke world record, with a time of 1:53.08.

To read more about Aaron's swims, go to www.usaswimming.org.

To see Aaron's world-record technique up close, pick up a copy of his DVD:  Go Swim Backstroke with Aaron Peirsol.
