Would Biedermann have won if Michael had been wearing a Jaked suit?

I think so, Biedermann has been on fire. He broke European records in the German trials in a textile suit, so its not just the suit. Biedermann looks like the real deal and its very good for German swimming, considering where they are now.

Besides, the Jaked suit might not have made a difference to Phelps. These suits have different effects on different people depending on body type and size. For some swimmers it even hinders them. I think its just a case of one swimmer really going for it.

yeah same here

thats what i thought. i wonder if phelps and beidermann will ever do a rematch in the 200 free. i bet cavic would win 100 fly though.

Responded Jul 29, 2009 03:51PM

Beidermann and Phelps will race again but it will be interesting to see how Phelps responds. All the pressure is on him now. Also, don't forget that Phelps missed three monthes of training as well. I think Phelps will reclaim the crown before the Olympics.

Responded Jul 29, 2009 04:33PM

he missed 6 months actually he actually planned 3 months but got suspended for drugs so went even more without training

Responded Jul 29, 2009 07:11PM

Definitely maybe :) . Biederman is a very good swimmer and Phelps is just a human after all.

Responded Jul 29, 2009 07:38PM

maybe, phelp's human tests are coming in at the next olympic.lol.

Sprinter, is your picture doing a fly or breast breakout?

Responded Jul 29, 2009 07:43PM

fly :)

Responded Jul 29, 2009 07:46PM

okay thats what i thought but it still does look a little like breast. is that you, or is it a picture off the net?

Responded Jul 29, 2009 07:54PM

this is me :)
If it was breaststroke, my head and my entire upper body would be lifted and my hands won't be going so far back... I hope! I never saw a picture of my breaststroke break through :D. U cannot see it on the picture but my toes are actually pointed :)

Responded Jul 29, 2009 07:57PM

German look so powerful on 400m and 200m - he said that he knew Phelps' main weapon is powerful dolphin kicking during underwater after flip turn and kicking so he copying him and trains hards -finally its working for him

Responded Jul 29, 2009 10:55PM

yes i agree with you james stuart Paul Bidermann was more explosiv from the beginning to the end , the swimsuit biderman was wearin i think it was Arena X-Glide and Phelps's Speedo LZR Racer. So i think phelps was beaten by a men not by a suit :)

Responded Jul 30, 2009 02:23AM

Who would have won if both swimmers had been wearing old school jammers or briefs? And, how much time would Biederman have dropped since Beijing if he had been wearing an old school suit in each effort?

Responded Jul 30, 2009 12:42PM

well, in beijing, beidermann got 5th in the 200 free wearing leg suits. and he got 1:46.00, so, i think phelps would win.

Responded Jul 30, 2009 03:51PM

In every competition there is a winner and a loser. Anyone can win any race. Even longshots win sometimes. Will be interesting to watch.

Responded Jul 30, 2009 04:30PM

yeah

Responded Aug 04, 2009 02:28PM

Suits are just too much ado

Responded Aug 05, 2009 09:05PM

no. plain and simple.

Responded Aug 05, 2009 09:10PM

I'm going to have to say yes. He had another gear he hadn't used yet. That guy is for REAL.
