Swim Question of the Week - October 7, 2009

Posted by Glenn Mills on Oct 07, 2009 07:22AM (2,331 views)

Even though most swimmers have been training a month now, it's still very early in the season.  The question for today is, have you really started training with your goals at the end of the season in mind?

Unfortunately, not yet. I come only so slowly to swing and try to co-ordinate job and training anew. Because for me as a teacher also the work has started again. That is new timetable and new training times.

Absolutely. First peak already gone by, prepping for Christmas then 8 weeks to our main comp of the year

Yes. I spent the break time between summer and winter season working on weaknesses: breaststroke, and adding a full 6-beat kick into my free.

Unfortunately, it's really moving slow for me right now. But we start to set sight on something real over the next few days.
