Swimming Picture of the Week - August 12, 2010

Posted by Glenn Mills on Aug 12, 2010 09:48AM (4,115 views)

As I leave Annapolis tomorrow, I'm posting this picture to honor the great men and women we worked with while we were here.

Not only are these dedicated athletes, but they all go above and beyond what they're required to do just to be able to swim.

Just remember these swimmers the next time you complain about having to go to morning practice.  Chances are they're already swimming, after pulling guard duty all night.

While we love all the service academies... GO NAVY!!!!

Glenn...the problem is that at least in american footbal...the ARMY always beats the NAVY, maybe you can change that history in swimming. :):):)

Not sure what you consider American football, but in the history of Army Navy football, navy leads 54-49. Not what I'd call Army always winning. As far as swimming is concerned, navy is now at 20 years straight beating Army. Sorry Thomas. Wrong. :)

Well...you are right, but ONLY because of recent history (8 wins from 2000 to 2009)...in any case I am glad to know that the NAVY is well ahead the ARMY as far as swimming is concerned.

Actually... Even with the last 8, they still have had 46 others, so I still don't know where the Army always beats Navy came from. Just confusing that's all.
