HANDS HAVE TO BE LIKE SORD, LEGS HAVE TO BE CLOSED, FOODS HAVE TO BE AT (11)OR (1) AT THE WALL, |

Looks like Barbara!!! Anyway it is a must skill to be developed. |

Well, newbie to swimming that I am, I'm afraid to say much at all about the picture. But what looks right to me... the arms are tight to the ears? One hand is on top of the other, although the fingers shouldn't be pointing down so much? |

I like the head position, between the elbows and looking down. Is she / has she been, kicking on her side maybe in readiness to vault over on breakout. Hands locked is also good but the body position appears a bit 'loose' all the way down, that's all. |

Hi GW...and how do you figured out that she is swimming freestyle? |
Not necessarily of course, it could be fly but most swimmers don't kick on their sides for that. Probably wrong of course, maybe Glenn will enlighten us! |

Some swimmers do like the slanted dolphin for their underwaters. This swimmer, however IS doing freestyle. What I saw as the positives were:
While this swimmer isn't Barbara, this is a 40+ masters swimmer. So... KIDS... if she does it off every wall (this was warmup by the way), what are you doing? Coaches, if you're not demanding this of your swimmers, you're doing them a disservice. This video was sent to me by a friend... who just happens to be an Olympic Gold Medalist. We're all impressed by this demonstration of underwater swimming. Now... even this simple pic of the week may have a bit more meaning. Watch the swimmer 2nd from the bottom (lane 7). |

Wow - who he is? I never heard his name before during Olympics |
C'mon James...you can beat that guy dolphining only with one leg!!! That anckle you have can act as a propeller...so get it running. |
Hard kick is comming up!!!!!.....and the face down is also good....GW is right(as always.....) |
