McKenzie Coan Heading to London!

Posted by Glenn Mills on Aug 23, 2012 11:54AM (1,875 views)

Sometimes we get so caught up in our own day-to-day life that we miss some of the best news possible.

Four years ago, we posted a butterfly drill called "Butterfly - 3-3-3."  The drill can be seen below.

This morning I recieved an email from McKenzie's Mom with a single graphic with the words, "Wanted to share with you :)"

I knew right away that the image was either from an app, or a PDF.  Turns out it was a pic from the Team USA London 2012 Paralympic Games Media Guide.

On page 109, there she is... McKenzie is heading to London.

I couldn't be happier about this news, and I'm even more excited that McKenzie is in London with our great friend Dave Denniston... who is mentioned numerous times in the guide because MANY of the Paralympic swimmers have Dave as their Coach, and will now benefit from his expertise in his role as an Assistant Coach of the USA Paralympic Team.

HUGE Congrats to McKenzie and her family, and we'll be cheering for you.

Have a great week.
