Having a little Halloween fun today with Barbara's masters team in Vermont.

WARMUP:  400 on your own

TRICK-OR-TREAT WARMUP:  200
8 X 25 freestyle on :30
Odds:  No breathing for the first 6 strokes
Evens:  No breathing from flags into the wall

PUMPKIN-PASS / SWIM:  200
Divide swimmers into two, four, or six groups -- one group per lane.  Group #1 gets in a circle and passes a pumpkin (or medball) while everyone in Group #2 swims a 50 Fly.  When all members of Group #2 finish the 50 Fly, they do pumpkin pass while Group #1 swims a 50 Fly.  Repeat until both teams have done 1 X 50 in each stroke.

DEVIL SET:  666
6 swims on a 66-second sendoff/turnaround.  Choice of stroke and equipment and distance.  Just make the sendoff!

MUMMY RELAY:  50
Divide into teams of 4 or 5 swimmers.  When it's your turn to swim, you wear a T-shirt but you can't put your arms through the sleeves, i.e., keep your arms at your sides.  Each team member kicks a 50.  Be careful not to hit your head on the turn!

SCULL & BONES:  200
4 X 50
#1:  Feet-first scull on your back, while pushing a pumpkin (or water-polo ball) with your feet.
#2:  Kick on your back, using "clackers" or something to make noise.  (Paddles are very effective.)
#3:  Scull of your choice
#4:  Swim of your choice

CORPSE-PUSHING PARTNER:  50
FInd a willing partner.  One partner swims backstroke.  The other partner is on his/her back with his feet on the head of the swimmer, and with his arms folded over his chest.  Swim a 25 backstroke, then switch positions and swim another 25.  Check it out here.

VISIT TO THE UNDERWORLD:  200
8 X 25 on :40
Odds:  Double underwater pullout into 2 strokes breaststroke, then finish the length with freestyle
Evens:  Get to the middle of the pool any way you want...but under water.  When you come up to the surface, swim freestyle to the wall.
