All great swimmers will tell you: Don't just train -- train with more thought. Do everything your coach asks, and then do just a little more -- and do it with focus and attention to detail.

In breaststroke, one of the biggest gains in speed comes from paying close attention to turns and pullouts. In a breaststroke race, fast turns help you create speed on every lap, and strong pullouts help you maintain that speed into your first stroke.

With extraordinary underwater footage, and with instructions developed by a trio of award-winning breaststrokers, this video presents a simple, 5-step learning sequence for FAST turns and for POWERFUL pullouts.

* Each aspect of the turn and pullout is illustrated from multiple angles  -- side, head-on, overhead, rear  -- and from above and below the surface.
* Slow-motion and freeze-frame footage allows you to zoom in on key moves and really SEE how to do them.
* For each step, you'll learn a key focus point that you can incorporate into your practice every day.

DAVE DENNISTON the featured swimmer on Go Swim Breaststroke, was a member of the 1999 NCAA Championship-winning Auburn University Swim Team. He is a NCAA Champion (1999), US Olympic Trials Finalist (2000 and 2004), and was a member of the 2003 USA World Championship Team.

GO SWIM BREASTSTROKE TURNS & PULLOUTS was written, filmed, and produced by the team of GLENN MILLS, a member of the 1980 Olympic Team (200M Breaststroke), and BARBARA HUMMEL, a veteran of two Olympic Trials and currently a coach and world Top Ten Masters swimmer.

This is in the running for my favorite Go Swim DVD, and I own nine of them. More than any other DVD in my collection, this one provides tips that make a difference and are easily grasped and put into practice. If you can make your turns look anything like Dave's, you will be much, much better off.

All international shipping is $22. That's for 1, or for all 20+ DVDs... it's a flat rate.

Glenn. Of your Breaststroke videos...is this one the best that you have for turns and pullouts? I have 3 swimmers and they all lose the race in the turns and run them down in the lane. If they can sort out their turns they'd never lose. They've been told to elbow your brother and call your mother but are confused because when they do they they are on their backs. They need VIDEO help I think. Please advise and thanks.

This video is great for the turns, however, was shot prior to the rule change for the underwater pull. There is no dolphin kick on this video, but from a basic teaching process, it's still very useful.

Again, for turns, it's great. There are also some videos on the new website which refer to the dolphin underwater pull. http://www.goswimtv.com

Any others that you'd recommend as a better choice than this one since the pull out rule change is not included?
