This was the crowd-pleaser of the week for the Masters team that Barbara coaches. The set, which is a "take it to failure" set, can be swum as all freestyle, but it also lends itself to variation.
IM set this week. Actually, it's a FRIM set but you can do IM if you want to kick it up a notch.
This week's set allows you to work on three focus points for freestyle: low breath, Early Vertical Forearm (EVF), and 6-beat kick.
There are many ways to get ready for a long open-water swim when you don't have access to open water.
