This simple skill is quite possibly the MOST important skill in all of swimming. While I know we've covered this before, after spending the summer coaching young swimmers at swim camps, it can't be stressed enough.
Over the past few weeks, I've had the opportunity to do some fun events in the open water.
Here's a short, quick set that combines stroke-counting and speed. It works well on the day before a meet, when you don't want to do too much, but want to know that your engines are firing and that you can generate easy speed.
