Hello Norwegian swimmer,

I read your question, and if I understand you feeling now very tired or slow.
As major league games take place next month, you might start to discuss with your coach or you can tapering.

With tapering can reduce your training volume and training intensity by 50% what you normally do, you will also exercise less. Depending on your training and level the taper between 4 and 14 days. Top athletes tapering 10-14 days. The taper is set in the days before the day of the big league.

During the taper you give your body complete rest, both physically and mentally. Discuss this with your coach well ...

If you have any questions, or if I misunderstood please let me know ..!
