Has been a nagging issue with me over the past month or so. I think it's partly because I'm an aging fitness fanatic. I lift weights, run, mountain bike and of course swim. I cut drastically back on everything but swimming lately because - to be honest - I love swimming. While cutting back seems to help, I'm wondering if anyone's experimented with those arm strap things or medicine of some kind to ease the pain? Anybody else here suffer from it? |

yapp, me. I have it since 4 weeks. I quit nor only every single sport that I was doing but also started using only my left arm. I learned writing, typing, eating, brushing teath and so on. It is not neccessary to tell you that I was so stressed out that I was just going to work and sleeping. I hadn't energy for anything else. From the first day on I had physio therapy three times per week, which was including massages, stretching, needles, ultra sound. Two days ago I went to the pool again. I was mostly doing kick sets and kicking under water; I didn't dare to to use my arm a lot. Next Time a will do a bit more swimming and less kicking, becasue my arm feels much better. I can even write with it again :) At this point I must say that my physio did a great job. Her therapy is very painful, especially the needles (AUA!!!), but I believe it saved my from bigger trouble and a lot more sore moments. |
