Bio:

I spent 20 years working second shift at a newspaper in the sports department. I was pretty burned out, so when they offered a buyout . . . That was June 2007. I took the summer off to spend time with my son and figure out what I wanted to do. When I asked myself, what would I do for no pay? Answer: Swim! So, I got a job at Foss Swim School where I teach swimming part-time. I'm also working another part-time job and I try to fit my own laps in when I can. I'm struggling with accepting that I can't swim like I did in my 20's, but if I listen to my body, I do okay. Teaching others how to swim is very good for my soul.

Interests:

Besides swimming - reading, music, dog-walking (I have two), being out-of-doors. I also play on facebook and livejournal.
