Bio:

I've been in the water all my life and swimming on my own steam since age 3. I was competitive all the way up through high school, tending toward the breast, fly, and IM events. At age 12, I started volunteering at the local Y, helping out teaching, got my own classes not too long after, and I have been teaching and/or coaching swimmers ever since. I read a lot of biomechanics magazines and articles and watch a lot of swimming film in my free time. In my not-so-free-time, I went to Beanpot schools to get my college education and eventually become a lawyer, which is what I do as my other, more profitable, career.
