Freestyle - Dominik Meichtry

Swiss superstar Dominik (Dom) Meichtry has punched his ticket in at least four events for the 2012 London Olympics: 100, 200, and 400 freestyle plus 100 butterfly.

This will be Dom’s third Olympics representing his native Switzerland, and he hopes to best his 2008 showing as a finalist in the 200 free. The 27-year-old, who learned to swim at age two, has won 29 individual Swiss National Championships and currently trains with Dave Salo at the Trojan Swim Club in Los Angeles.
