I spend about 90 percent of the time swimming fast in freestyle.

And 10 percent of the time swimming slow.

I spend a lot of my time just recovering -- either just sitting on the wall catching my breath or stretching.

So for most of my recovery, I just swim slow backstroke.

In breaststroke, unless I’m doing a drill that requires me to go slow, I don’t do any slow breaststroke.

I will, again, usually switch to backstroke or slow freestyle instead.
