The additional time it takes to glide longer, may allow his feet to appear to do a dolphin kick.  While this could be a concern for coaches, it's important to understand what the actual race rate of your swimmer is, and not worry about this IF it indeed does NOT show up in the faster swimming.

Sometimes drills, or focal points (extension), bring with it other aspects that can be viewed as non-productive.  A full understanding of how and why this can happen is necessary in helping most of your swimmers.
