Moving forward with the progression, the swimmer will start with the pull buoy in the same position as in the previous step.  Once the athlete gets stable, they should drop the pull buoy and initiate a flutter kick.

Maintain the streamline and stable core position after the pull buoy has been dropped, and then transition to swimming.
