Have the swimmers kick flutter kick for a specific distance and then immediately move into breaststroke kick on the next length.  The idea here is that when kicking hard flutter kick, the legs move aggressively in a more vertical plane.  Getting the swimmers to focus on fast feet up and down, and then by switching immediately to breaststroke kick, the legs don’t want to go out as wide.  It’s very important that the flutter kick is done fast and aggressive for this to have the best impact.
