Arrive, transfer and swim success! Emily has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair for her mobility. She is 18 years old and has worked very hard to get a routine to participate in recreational swimming as independently as possible. This short video shows you how she accesses the pool and begins to enjoy leisure activities. She has difficulty with vision, mobility, and processing complex information. Her enjoyment, independence, and creativity is something that shines in the gravity reduced environment of the pool- I have more video of her swimming if we want.
