Hanging Bobs are just like Standing Bobs, only you’re now in deeper water.

This will allow you to go deeper in the water and learn the feel and timing for when you’re about to break the surface.

If the pool isn’t quite deep enough to lower yourself deeper, or if you’re tall, try bending the legs as you lower yourself into the water.

In Hanging Bobs, you’ll lift yourself up a bit more quickly, and allow yourself to fall back underwater by allowing gravity to pull you back down.  You’re keeping your hands on the side of the pool for security, and to pop you up out of the water.

This will further demand that you start to understand the timing of breathing out through the nose slowly underwater, and breathing in through the mouth a bit more quickly while above.
