So now we're starting to see the real life application of these drills and skills that you're acquiring, so when you're racing long course there's going to be people handing you water bottles. 

You need to be able to ride in a straight line. You need to be able to take one hand off your handlebars and reach out for it. A nice, relaxed way while keeping your rig nice and straight, because there are people behind you in front of you and beside you are doing the same thing. And if you're swerving all over that, it becomes a really dangerous situation. 

So this is a fun drill to work on. But all those drills are working up to this being a ride in a straight line, being able to ride no hands, taking one hand off leads you up to this drill as well.
