Kaitlin uses Single-Arm Butterfly to focus on every part of her stroke.  

Push off in streamline and start swimming butterfly with one arm, while holding the other arm out in front.

Make a big, exaggerated dolphin movement with your body – a movement that starts at the chest.

Take two kicks per armstroke.  Kick your hand in…and kick your hand out.  When you need a breath, breathe to the side rather than to the front.

Try to catch water immediately when the hand goes in, and start pulling immediately.
