This item – the hand – can get you in a lot of trouble at the airport security line, but it's a great tool for coaching.

Kids are fascinated by the hand, and will really pay attention to it when you demonstrate technique.  

Remember, kids really don’t want to look at you when you critique them or tell them what to do.  They’d much rather look at the hand – anything but you.   

But if they are staring at the hand, which they will do because it’s just an interesting thing, you know they are listening.
