Freestyle - Bobby Savulich

Bobby is the co-founder of Athlete Approved. He is an Olympic Hopeful for the 2012 Games for the United States in swimming. He founded this company with a passion for spreading his athletic expertise to others.

He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Sociology and is currently obtaining his Masters degree in Sport Management. He is currently training with Club Wolverine Elite under legendary sprint coach and Athlete Approved co-founder Mike Bottom.

At the University of Michigan, Bobby was a 6x NCAA All-American and a 13x Big Ten Champion. He also won a Short Course National Championship. He was named one of three captains his senior year and was a member of two Big Ten Championship teams.

On the international level, in 2005 Bobby was a member of the United States Junior Pan Pacific team. In the summer of 2011, he swam at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China. He won a gold medal as anchor of the 4X100 Freestyle Relay. He also represented the United States as a member of the Pan Am Team, winning two silver medals.

Bobby is also the co-founder of the Professional Swimming League. The first event titled Pro Dual 1 was revolutionary for the sport of swimming. It put swimming in a light never before seen and provided financial opportunities for struggling Olympic Hopefuls. (
